So we designed something that will.
The Rachael Matthews Oval keeps everything that makes our round tables so loved — the sunburst veneer, the sculptural base, the bespoke hand-applied finish — and gives it a shape that works beautifully in longer, narrower dining rooms without losing an inch of elegance.
The table
The oval top carries the same sunburst oak veneer grain as our round tables — real oak, laid by hand, radiating from the centre outward. The ellipse base mirrors the shape of the top, tapered and considered, giving the whole piece a coherence and calm that feels completely intentional.
As with every Rachael Matthews table, Matthew finishes it entirely by hand in your chosen colour — building the finish in layers until it is exactly right.

YOUR COLOUR
Every oval is finished in the colour of your choice — from natural light oak to deep ebonised, warm walnut, soft grey and charcoal. Send us a paint swatch or fabric sample and we'll match your interior exactly.
PRE-ORDER NOW
The Oval is a new addition to our collection. We are now taking deposits for our first production run.
Pre-ordering now secures your place at the front of the queue and locks in the current price before the collection formally launches.
Lead time: 10–14 weeks from order confirmation. A 50% deposit secures your table.
